Important: All our scuba diving courses are split into two parts; the theory that is completed and paid online through the PADI website and the practice that is paid on our website and takes place in Portobelo.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Overview
The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialities while gaining experience under the supervision of your certified PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun in scuba diving. This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It's titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.
Requirements
Minimum age junior: 12 yrs / Adult: 15 yrs
Certificate: (junior) open water or equivalent
Each dive requires a specific age

Rescue Diver
Overview
Learn how to detect stress, how to master self-rescue and perform rescues exercises in emergency settings. Rescue unresponsive and panicking divers. Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It's challenging, yet very rewarding. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning. Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken.
Requirements
Minimum age junior: 12 yrs/parental approval/age adult: 15 yrs
Certificate: junior adventurer or equivalent (at least 1 navigation dive); current EFR
